Learn4Life: Summer 2026 Regestraiton is Open!

The Toronto District School Board (TDSB) Learn4Life Summer 2026 session is now open! Learn4Life provides engaging and affordable courses for adults 18+, including: language classes, arts and fitness, technology, professional development, and general interest courses. Classes are designed to support lifelong learning, skill building, and community connection in a welcoming environment.

Registration has opened as of May 13. There are three easy ways to register: online, telephone, and by mail. To register by mail please visit the website for the registration form. An account and email address is required to register for a course. In-person registration is available by appointment, please call TDSB at 416-338-4111 to book your appointment. Please notify the TDSB in advance if you require any accommodations.

Please note: seniors receive a 20% discount on course fees, and subsidy learners receive an 80% discount on course fees.

TDSB is also hiring instructors! They are actively seeking talented individuals to join their team of instructors. Courses include: Fitness, Food, Handiwork, Sewing, Sports and Woodworking!

The City is doing a survey of the Church Street Pedestrianization Project that my office and the Church-Wellesley Village BIA is operating on Church Street between Wellesley Street East and Alexander Street until August 21. The City of Toronto’s Identify ‘N Impact community grant helps promote youth engagement and community safety by providing up to $17K for youth-led (15-29) initiatives that help with violence prevention, mental health and well-being, skills development, arts and youth-friendly spaces. Applications are now open until September 15 at 12:00pm.

 

Opened last year, Biidaasige Park is expanding with 10 more acres of public waterfront space at 238 Cherry Street on Ookwemin Minising. With new places to walk, cycle, paddle, gather, enjoy public art and take in skyline views, residents and visitors are invited to come celebrate during opening weekend on July 25 and 26. See what’s happening this weekend and beyond, including free guided kayak tours, walking tours and art-making workshops.
