TCHC Internship Opportunities: Apply by March 6!

Toronto Community Housing Corporation (TCHC) Spring Internship Applications are live! The program is a 13 week hands on work experience in housing where you will develop new skills and build professional connections. You will be paired with TCHC staff to gain meaningful mentorship experiences to grow your skills in community development.

Requirements:

Eligibility to Work in Canada;
Lives in Toronto Community Housing Building/Community;
An interest/passion learning about the social housing sector; and
Ontario Secondary School Diploma or Equivalent. (College/University Degrees within the last year).

Toronto Community Housing will allow you to choose from a range of divisional opportunities depending on your interests. Some of those divisions include, but are not limited to:

Equity, Diversity and Inclusion;
Finance;
Talent Acquisition; and
Revitalization and Renewal communities.

These positions provide the opportunity to work from home as part of a hybrid work model. This arrangement will allow you to work some days at a TCHC work location and the rest of the time from home. The amount of time required to work at a TCHC work location is flexible, while considering operation and service delivery requirements.

Church Street Pedestrianization Public Survey

Identify ‘N Impact Youth Grants - Apply by September 15!

The City of Toronto’s Identify ‘N Impact community grant helps promote youth engagement and community safety by providing up to $17K for youth-led (15-29) initiatives that help with violence prevention, mental health and well-being, skills development, arts and youth-friendly spaces. Applications are now open until September 15 at 12:00pm.
